BENEFITS OF MEMBERSHIP

Members are entitled to call themselves Certified Practising Professionals in their area of expertise, signifying a mark of honour, achievement, prestige, distinction, and the desire to pursue excellence.

Members can attend Certified Institute of Practising Professionals seminars and conferences at reduced costs, where they will have opportunities to meet and network with other members, and learn to develop strategic management skills.

Members can progress professionally within the various categories of the CIPP.

Members who wish to consider migrating to other countries for employment purposes can receive useful advice from designated registered immigration agencies that CIPP can direct them to.

Student Affiliate Members of the CIPP have opportunities to:

  • Discuss their professional/occupational aspirations with CIPP and for CIPP to assist them in identifying their career pathways (when appropriate).

  • Be guided in preparing their curriculum vitae.

  • Obtain useful resources regarding professional interviewing skills, techniques and strategies, to assist them when they attend job interviews.

  • Be guided regarding further studies in overseas countries.

CIPP Membership Rankings from the lowest to highest are:

  • Certified Student Affiliate Member (CSAMCIPP)

  • Certified Associate Member (CAMCIPP)

  • Certified Member (CMCIPP)

  • Certified Associate Fellow (CAFCIPP)

  • Certified Fellow (CFCIPP)

  • Certified Distinguished Fellow (CDFCIPP)

Example of usage: If an Industrial Engineer is accepted as a Member of the Certified Institute of Practising Professionals, the Industrial Engineer is entitled to use the letters CMCIPP and be described as a Certified Practising Professional Industrial Engineer.

If an Accountant is accepted as a Fellow Member, the accountant can use the letters CFCIPP, and be described as a Certified Fellow Practising Professional Accountant.

Certified Student Affiliate Member - $100

Certified Associate Member - $200

Certified Member - $250

Certified Associate Fellow - $300

Certified Fellow - $350

Certified Distinguished Fellow - $400

PAYMENT: When you submit your application form and are accepted for CIPP membership, you will be emailed instructions for the private Membership Login page, where you can then submit your payment.

CERTIFICATE OF MEMBERSHIP: Once membership payment is received, you will be emailed your receipt and Membership Certificate within 10-12 working days.
